Lazzaro Lavinia

Lavinia Lazzaro è nata in Italia a Città di Castello (PG). Ha ottenuto la laurea triennale in Lingue presso l’Università di Siena (parla italiano, inglese, francese e tedesco) e la magistrale internazionale in Cinema, Televisione e produzione multimediale (IMACS) con lode all’Università Roma Tre. Durante il suo percorso di formazione, ha studiato per più di un anno alla Freie Universität Berlin in Germania, alla Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Spagna e all’Université de Lille in Francia, dove ha frequentato un corso sul restauro del colore dei film di M. Antonioni alla Cinematek di Brussels.
Studia recitazione da quando ha quattordici anni, ha frequentato il corso “Acting in English” presso l’agenzia Studio Emme a Roma. Recentemente ha interpretato a teatro Eleonora De Medici in Cosimo I e Vasari. Insieme a V. Neulichedl ha realizzato in veste di produttrice, regista, attrice, sceneggiatrice il suo primo corto Conchiglie. Opera che ha vinto il premio per la migliore sceneggiatura in vari festival internazionali tra cui il Prisma Festival di Roma e lo Stockholm City Film Festival.

Lavinia Lazzaro was born in Città di Castello, Italy. She received a bachelor’s degree in Languages from the University of Siena (she speaks Italian, English, French and German) and an international master’s degree cum laude in Cinema Studies, Television and Multimedia Production (IMACS) from Roma Tre University. She studied for more than a year at Freie Universität Berlin in Germany, Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Spain and Université de Lille in France, where she took a course on the color restoration of Michelangelo Antonioni’s films at Cinematek in Brussels.
Lazzaro has studied acting since the age of fourteen, and took the “Acting in English” course at Studio Emme in Rome. She recently played Eleonora De Medici on the stage in Cosimo I e Vasari. Together with V. Neulichedl she made her first short film, Conchiglie for which she was producer, director, actress and screenwriter. This work won the best screenplay award at various international festivals, including the Prisma Festival in Rome and the Stockholm City Film Festival.
